W116 uber-sedan enthusiast N from Germany sent me the following images. Apparently, I was wrong last month to assert that only
one non-Crayford 6.9 wagon was made.
A coachbuilder in Germany called Pollmann Karosseriefabrik created two 450SEL 6.9 wagons. The first conversion, seen below and in my September post, has a slightly raised roofline behind the B-pillar (for that stadium seating effect). The second version had a flat roofline.

And while I was researching the German coachbuilder, I came across this
bizarre German website devoted to odd hearses. I can't decide which is worse, the Lincoln Continental hearse with suicide doors, or....
