American F1 ad

F1 is about as popular here as the Pope is in Yemen. Fortunately, this is the first year that NBC Sports will be covering it. The production value is already light years beyond the pathetic attempt Speed made in the past (I'm still trying to scrub the ill-fitting Speed polo shirts that the announcers wore from my mind). Will F1 finally catch on again here?

The coverage they've promised is much better than Speed's.

But once the ratings don't come they'll start cutting production costs and coverage hours so my guess is that in the long run it will be no better than Speed.

And no, this will not be the year F1 catches on in the US.

@F1O: Sadly, I think you're right. Well, here's to the best Australian GP coverage we will see in a long time!

looks good, better than the BBC's reduced coverage anyhouse. Radiohead soundtrack too. Up Checo!
