Three cool Soviet maps

These maps come from Russian History Atlas (1972).  The 146 maps in the book begin in 800 BC and end in 1970.  Click on the maps below to enlarge them.

1. The Far Eastern Republic.  Canadian troops in Chita?

2. Nazi Germany's plan for a partitioned USSR.  Divide and conquer.

3. The Soviet navy.  Good perspective on relative sizes of Far East, Black Sea, Baltic, and Arctic Fleets.
