This is a wake up call. You, the regular visitor to this site, are way too obsessed with cars. I asked my American friend, who is not into cars, to take pictures of cars he found interesting during a recent trip to Germany. Some of you guessed that he would take pictures of a Trabant, a Bitter SC, or a new Scirocco. Wrong. This is what he, a normal, well adjusted person, found interesting.
1. Mercedes wagon: His rental car.
2. Smart car: Burger King delivers in Germany?!
3. Opel dealership: What's an Opel?
Thanks to my buddy D for being such a good sport. This has been eye-opening. We need to get out more. There is more to life than obsessing about oddball cars. Maybe.

At least he took a picture of a Mercedes Benz :)
I've been a long time follower of your blog (google reader natch) and appreciate your mix of geopolitics and cars. I'm headed to Brussels for 3 weeks on Friday and if I see anything particularly interesting I'll snap a picture for you.
@Cchanner83: Please do share! You know where to find me. I've never been, but I hear the fries and beers are incredible. *Burp*
@sebasm: You are right!
In Thailand, all the fast food places deliver - mostly on scooter. And it was a Mercedes wagon.
The fact that he drove a W204 estate is making me a bit jealous....I really wish MB would bring that to the states.
