Three iconic images from the Arab Spring

I am reading Fractured Lands, a New York Times piece on the Arab Spring from the perspective of six residents. I highly, highly recommend it.

The stories brought back memories from just a few years ago (2011). The Arab Spring is this generation's Fall of Communism. This time around, with the internet, almost every moment was captured by photo or video, including:

The Arab Spring could have been this generation's Fall of Communism, if it had been successful. I think only Tunisia made it, right? Egypt, Libya, Syria are pretty much the same or in utter chaos.
