Volvo limo spotted in Hong Kong

H/t to Rchen. Can anyone explain/decipher the two license plates?

Update: GG plate is regular HK plate. Other plate is for HK cars that want to cross into bordering Guangdong Province.

Neat ! This is basically an old school version of the badass -pair- of Volvo S80 limos I spotted in Jerusalem's Old City in front of the Jaffa Gate :

And that medallion? I guess it is some government official.

The medallion does indeed show an affiliation with HK section of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. Maybe now that Volvo is Chinese-owned, we'll see more extra-large official cars by Volvo.

Unrelated: The HK Police Commissioner apparently drove around in a Phaeton.
