Previous Peking To Paris Rally edition in 2010 passed through Kazakhstan. This year it won't :(

What's the Chinese sentiment in Peking being called Beijing now? From what I understand they never liked Peking.

Don't they get peeved that the rally is still called Peking - Paris?

@F1O: I don't think any Chinese people care now, they're too busy making money.

Peking was just an old way of spelling Beijing. But it does sound old fashioned. Like calling Taiwan "Formosa".
