Toyota Museum photos

Rchen snapped these photos. On the day of his visit, there was a technical talk about the Toyota Previa. I think we can all agree that every one of us could spend days there.

Why do I want that Previa so badly?

@Tim: Rchen heard at the tech talk that the only Toyota that lasted longer than the Previa was the LS400. Durability, FTW.

@T.Wade
Probably because it is mid-engined?!

I want the scale model cars.

Third photo down, of the nose of a light coloured Crown. I owned a Crown like that, when I was poor. Bought it for $800 from a friend, who insisted I called it "Limo" like he did. Two years of loyal service later, I sold it to another impoverished friend for $800, and he agreed to call it "Limo". It wasn't so much ownership as custodianship. Solid car.

@F1O: I thought I had a post about those 1:5 scale cars. I'll do it tomorrow.

@Ozmac: That is a funky looking Crown. Do you have any pictures of it when you owned it?

I'm thinking of a Toyota Crown ad retrospective/compilation.

The perfect museum.

I must say the visit left me really wanting a Previa All-Trac, preferably without the used-up supercharger with screaming bearings.

Hundreds (literally!) more photos here. Enjoy!

I never realized that I find this many Toyotas interesting. Love the front end on that mk4 Crown.
