China Jasmine Revolution starts at 2pm local time on Sunday

Update: It was a dud.  And only one person didn't believe the hype before the 2pm start time.  It was Melissa K. Chan, the Al Jazeera correspondent in China.  She just posted a piece on why it was a failure and why a Twitter-based revolution is not likely to happen there.

Demonstrations are supposed to take place at the main squares of 13 Chinese cities.  The government is clamping down on all information about the protests.  I can't tell if it's just hype from Falun Gong exiles or if it's a legitimate grassroots movement.

The invitation states, in part:
"Whether you are the parents of kidney stone babies, relocated households, retired soldiers, private teachers, buy-out offer employees, laid-off workers, petitioners... we are all Chinese. You and I still have a dream about China's future. We should be responsible for the future of our own and children"

The cities are: Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Nanjing, Xian, Chengdu, Changsha, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Shenyang, Changchun, Harbin, and Wuhan.
