North Korean-built Mercedes 190E

North Korea built this in 1988.  It was alternately called the Kaengsaeng 88, the Pyongyang 4.10, and the Paektusan.  They lacked heaters, AC, and had mismatched windows.  Awesome.

I've got a set of new rear shocks for a W201 that I don't need. Maybe I should send them to North Korea as humanitarian aid. :)

Ha! I think Jimmy Carter is on his way to North Korea to free another American. Maybe he has room in his carry-on luggage.

@Alan. I couldn't find anything other than a guy trying to huck his book about North Korean cars. I'd love to see Jon Davis of Motorweek do a road test!
