Mel Gibson's car: Maserati Quattroporte

The guy may be a can short of a 6-pack, but he sure does have good taste in cars.

I've seen Quattroportes and Spiders for sale on eBay in the mid $20's to low $30's... So tempting!!

Hey... So your boy Nick Heidfeld did his first tests for Pirelli today. A few teams for sure will be jumping at the chance to pick up the driver who did all the tests on the new tires. Should bode well for his chances next year.

It's not the cost of buying the cost that will get ya. It's the cost of parts and repair.

Good to see Heidfeld in the spotlight, albeit during summer break. Plus, his third child was just born! (I know way too much.)

Has Williams already confirmed Rubens and Nico H for next year? Because it seems like Petrov has his seat for next year locked up with his recent performance.

Speaking of F1, they had a 2001 Ferrari that Schumacher drove at the Monterey Historics. Really weird, because it's got Alonso stickers on it and stickers advertising that Ferrari amusement park in the Persian Gulf.

Rubens is sure to be renewed. Brazilian press says he has already done so, they just haven't announced it yet. Nico is steadily improving so they'll probably keep him.

Schumacher's Ferrari w/ Alonso stickers is pretty awkward. I went to a Ferrari Challenge weekend meet they had here in Miami a few years ago. They were running a few F1 cars from the F1 Clienti program. Some of Prost's cars and a couple of Schumacher's cars too. It was pretty cool.
