Monopoly game car piece

I know every one of you readers insisted on being the car when you played the game as a kid.  Any idea what the make and model of the car is?  Or is it just a generic "roadster"?

Credit here and here.

I still insist on the car. When I was a kid I'd often use micromachines, too.

I always thought it was a Miller Indy car...

My OCD prevented me from mixing different games/cars. I even had a hard time mixing my mini Autobots with my regular sized Autobots.

hahaha, yeah - I had my fair share of automotive-related OCD as a child too.

To this day I peak inside anything remotely sporty to see if it's equipped with a stick.

I had to be the car too.

I found some reference to it apparently being a 1932 Ford Roadster but I couldn't confirm.

According to this page the design changed several times over the years anyway:

2 years later and still no one has posted an answer on my or your blogs about the identity of the toy car.

@Jesse: Me thinks it's just a generic old timey car.
