Eating the Globe: Tunisia
Shakshouka is a poached egg dish that originated from Tunisia. I had this at a generic Middle Eastern place that served brunch. The eggs rest on a bed of potatoes, spinach, and tomato salsa. Not the most authentic, but I'm getting desperate.
I washed it down with a tasty but not-very-strong Bloody Mary. We got carded.
