This Czech restaurant is by far the best eatery along the I-80 corridor between Sacramento and the Bay Area.
For $8.95, you can have this work of Bohemian art for lunch. The pork is roasted with a sausage inside. It comes with dumplings and sauerkraut on the side. A ladle of brown gravy covers (but does not drown) everything.

That looks heavenly. Not enough ethnic European food down here in SD. Plenty of amazing Asian, African, South American, Middle-Easter and even African food but sadly no quality borscht, dumplings or kraut anywhere in sight.
