Along the ten mile stretch of Pacific Coast Highway between Newport Beach and Laguna Beach, we saw a dozen Ferraris and Lambos, two Audi R8s, two Triumphs, a dune buggy, a Jeepster, a Corniche convertible, an Austin-Healey 3000, a Chevelle, and a LeMans. But this Trihawk stood out the most. 100 were made in Orange County between 1983 and 1985. The 1299 cc air cooled engine was sourced from a Citroen GSA. The suspension was from a Renault R5/Le Car. It had a Honda dash. It handled as well as a Countach.
Stay tuned for my Maserati mega gallery...
