too few common models between Europe and North America, it is very challenging to be successful on both sides of the Atlantic

And @Ed: Yes, it used to be challenging to succed on both sides of the Atlantic. But it isn't anymore! And if there is a real challenge, it might be to triumph both in China and the rest of the world.
