I worked in the Philadelphia area from 1997 - 2002. I had an apartment near what to me must have been the last remaining family run Alfa dealership. On my days off, I would occasionally stop by and look at some of the offerings. You could see that the family loved these cars even as Alfa Romeo had already left our shores.
The 164 actually has a pretty solid platform shared with the Saab 9000; even though Saab heavily modified their platform). The 3.0L still has an incredible engine note and the low mileage is a plus. Very tempting but the Ebay price is too high right now.
While I don't know anything about that, that sounds right, as 168s were for HK and Malaysia, and both HK and Malaysia are LHT countries (that is to say, countries that utilize RHD vehicles). So maybe this particular 168 was converted to LHD prior to importation -- which wouldn't be impossible (or unheard of). Probably a question for the seller.

For less money, I like this one more:

Same part of the country, too.
@mtc: I enjoyed reading that BAT post (and comments) on the train ride this morning to work. Thanks!
Next car for the wife?!
