Bachmann opposes raising the debt ceiling

After a couple of weeks of distracting rumors about Bachmann's husband's sexual orientation, the debt ceiling debate is back on the front burner.  Presidential candidate Bachmann, a Tea Party and Iowa favorite, is a close second (nationally) behind Mitt Romney on the Republican side.  She, more than anyone else, has been responsible for eclipsing and silencing Sarah Palin.

Here she is in a recent ad.  One can criticize her for a number of things, but you can't fault her for lack of conviction (which we can't say about Romney).
