Even though today, Veterans Day, is a holiday, you still have to feed the meter in Oakland or you will get a $55 ticket. Damn those revenue generating bureaucrats.
The following days are considered Enforcement Holidays and there is no enforcement:
- New Year's Day (January 1 st)
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- President's Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day (July 4 th)
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day (December 25 th)
The following days are NOT considered Enforcement Holidays and all violations are enforced:
- New Year's Eve
- Lincoln Birthday
- Admission Day
- Columbus Day
- Veterans Day
- Day After Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Eve
