The increase in size is one of the saddest developments to me about cars in general.
I realise that that era will forever be gone, as manufacturers have to build cars to certian safety specifications. It is sad given that it is even more important today to have smaller cars, due to overcrowded roads and parking, and of course expensive fuel. Porsche especially, with its new fat ass, compared to the elegant lines of the original 911 (up to 993). (Don't get me started!)
