Today, BMW Sauber announced that it will keep Kubica and Heidfeld for the 2009 season. This is great news. The continuity of the drivers and the constant improvements made on the cars mean that BMW will have a legitimate shot at battling Ferrari and McLaren for the constructor's title. Even more important, this will mean that Heidfeld will have the opportunity next season to win his first race. Had he gone to Red Bull or Honda, he would have probably finished his career without ever winning a race.
