Carspotting, Lima edition

Something to whet your collective appetites.  These were taken with my iPhone.  There will be better pictures from my camera.  Lima is an amazing town.  Without NHTSA, USDOT, the EPA, and CARB, cars of all kinds from every corner of the world can be found here, if you look hard enough.

The ass-engined Renault 10 parked on the street blew me away.  The Lada 1500 is the first Soviet sedan I´ve ever seen in person.

Yep, they are still making them, i remember the time at early 90-s, when this car, brand new, was cost about 4000$. That was a best offer in the market for brand new car, that why it's still such popular. And o course it is reincarnation of Fiat 124.
