Note: I've been to Beaver Creek in the Yukon. That is almost certainly the last place you'd want a mechanical problem.
Non sequitur: The Seattle Greyhound bus station has the nastiest restroom in the Pacific Time Zone.

Wow, that's so hipster it hurts! But I like the idea, adding it to the already lengthy list of things to do if/when...
this guy is cool. he tasked his publicist with doing a brief piece for my blog ;)

i'd love to buy one of his fully-restored, fresh-off-the-showroom-floor cars if i had the scratch.
@mtc: Holy cow! That picture of the brown/beige rear seat is so vivid, I could smell it. My step-dad had a brown/beige interior, brown exterior '78 450SEL. These pictures are totally like a time machine for me.
That's pretty cool.

i would advise not to let the cover of the book fool you. just watched the vids- there's nothing hipster about DIY oil pan repair on the side of the road.
mtc: As to the automotive aspect (= the important part), I completely agree, especially after seeing the piece in your blog. I don't doubt their skills for a moment and I applaude their taste in cars.
I'm talking about the video itself, it was just a tad too much for me. The cinematography, the way the guys look, talk and act, playing with their iPhones etc.. Quite the hipster stereotype, don't you agree? Mercedes seems to be cashing in on the trend quite successfully (the whole youthful "mb!"-image), using every cliché in the proverbial book. Annoys the heck out of me, but that's just me. Maybe it's just my envy speaking, seems like a really fun trip. :)
@Edvin: You are not having any luck this week with your comments, pissing everyone here off! :)
Is hipsterism a problem in Finland?
Sure seems that way. :)
Yes, hipsterism is annoyingly big at the moment, but then again it's always something.. I've just seen way too many plaid shirts, scruffy beards and fixie bikes this summer.
