First ever eye-level camera in F1 car
Lucas Di Grassi in an old Toyota used for Pirelli testing in Barcelona. He had to drive with one eye because the camera blocked the other eye.

This is nothing new. Champ Car used to have it.
I don't know why F1 won't do it.
