I'll be attending the April 7 Cars & Coffee in Irvine

Can't wait to finally go.  I tested the Phaeton's fender with a refrigerator magnet last night.  I think it's made of aluminum plastic so the magnet wouldn't stay on.  So the car will not be adorned with a magnetic flagpole (and North Korean flag).

Good looking cars, there. On the opposite end of the performance and desirability spectrums, but that's what C & C is all about.

If all goes well, I should have Saturdays off and I'll see you there.

If you have access to the back side of the bumper, could you put opposing strong magnets either side? Maybe 2 pairs, in a vertical line, so your flag pole does not rotate?

Re your wife - did you see the stunt pulled at APEC in Aus a while back by a satirical group called the Chaser?
