The $99 PS2

I am behind the times technologically. I don't have an iPod. I don't know how to download ring tones. I've never downloaded a song, ever. But today, I read that Sony dropped the price of their 9 year old PS2 to $99. I had to buy one.

Tonight, I got a PS2 for $99.99, Gran Turismo 4 for $19.99, and an 8mb memory card for $24.99. With tax, it ended up costing me $158.38. I have done my part to stimulate this lackluster economy.

I had a lot of fun playing. I got my B and A licenses. My first purchase, just as in real life, was an early 1980s Isuzu Impulse/Piazza. My thumbs are going to be sore tomorrow.
