I distinctly remember talking about Bernie in 1998 at a bar with a law school classmate from Vermont. It was basically a long exchange about how fun/funny it was to have this ultra-liberal in Congress. Never in a million years could I have imagined him making it this far in a Democratic primary. In fact, I didn't take him seriously as a candidate until around October 2015 (he announced his run in May 2015).
I am curious to see how he affects change at the convention, with the party, and with the party's platform. The Establishment is against him, but he has millions of enthusiastic supporters behind him.
