As a huge Dukes of Hazzard fan back in the day, for a school art project I once taped four sheets of paper together to draw a massive (for my 6yo arms) confederate flag. When I brought it in my fellow classmates were quite impressed but I remember the teacher looking like she wanted to say something and not really sharing in the enthusiasm. I look back now at how it must have looked to her to have an Indian kid in New Jersey enthusiastically wearing down his crayons to make his own Confederate battle flag. I, too, would be speechless.
@midelectric: I had a General Lee toy car as a kid and regularly drew it in class. Here's a story for ya: https://www.yahoo.com/autos/general-lee-from-dukes-of-hazzard-losing-its-122294326432.html
