Carspotting: 1988-1991 Mazda 929
This was one of many unique cars I spotted in the coastal town of Mendocino a couple of weekends ago. My iPhone is bursting with pictures of cars from Pebble Beach, Mendocino, and Omaha. Look for much more soon.

Oh, the humanity!
My friend used to have one of these with a 2.0 i4 some ten years ago. I remember being impressed by the car, it was spacious, cozy and comfortable inside.

My high school history teacher had an S version with the 190hp 3.0 V6 and 5 speed. That made him even cooler in my eyes. A car that would fit my current needs quite nicely, come to think of it. I haven't seen a 929, either this generation or its successor, in a very long time.
