I know earlier London Taxis had a Nissan diesel engine, but I'm unsure about it ever having a Nissan chassis. And these look like later models that had either VM or Ford engines. Also, they are not that old, and I imagine Geely can still service them?
Maybe Azerbaijan could export them to some poor neighbour.
Don't think so, they been imported under special custom clearance as public transport. Means whoever wants to buy them now have to pay full custom cost like for new imported car ( 0.75$ for cm3)
What a waste! What happened there? These oil rich countries...
ReplyDeleteI guess some damages was fatal cause thousands of them still running on city streets. Or maybe they been out of service due to extremely high mileage.
