Of course! They were not uncommon here. I think I see them more often as wagons... which is reasonable, since this generation wagon was kept in production for longer than the sedan. This, by the way, is also a pillared hardtop. Known as Luce in Japan.

Oh! And also, a 929 Wagon was featured on a small Chilean film a couple years ago, as the car a family went camping with. That meant the Mazda was put on display on a big cinema in Santiago.
