Eating the Globe: Trinidad & Tobago
Two birds, one stone.
I'm looking for old issues of Car & Driver, so I decided to go to a local flea market. Coincidentally, there's a Trinidadian stand there.
The shrimp had a creamy and spicy curry sauce. The rice was really soft and probably cooked in coconut milk. The salad dressing was sweet. Plus, the area reeked of marijuana smoke. Reeked.
Ting is supposedly a popular Jamaican grapefruit-flavored soda.
