We got another dose of El Nino rain. Around ten inches of precipitation dropped over the past week. Here is a creek with actual water in it!
We had lunch at Farmstead in St. Helena. I had the pork chop on a bed of broccolini and jalapeno grits. I polished off the plate, and almost ate the bone.
Most of the ingredients from the restaurant are sourced from Long Meadow Ranch. Here is their work vehicle.
We then spent a couple of hours at Joseph Phelps Winery for a terrace tasting. There weren't a lot of people so we practically had the place and the wine tasting guy to ourselves.
