In celebration of International Women's Day, I present the 1983 movie Heart Like A Wheel, a biopic about drag racer Shirley Muldowney. When I moved to the US in 1983, this was the movie China Airlines was showing on the flight to LAX. Little Me thought: In America, they let women race?!
