You're going to think I'm nuts. But other than the finicky transmission and high center of gravity, this SUV drives just like the Phaeton.

Length: 201.2" for the Durango; 203.7" for the Phaeton
Curb Weight: 4,756 pounds for the Durango; 5,194 pounds for the Phaeton
Err..... Nuts. I can't see it.
ReplyDeleteYou're not nuts. As someone who tests a lot of cars, the latest Durango has shocked me. It's my absolute top pick in the segment right now.
ReplyDeleteThe ride, handling, and steering are more akin to a luxury SUV than anything in the segment (probably because it is common with the Mercedes-Benz M-Class and GL-Class underneath - this and the Grand Cherokee were the last two products developed under DaimlerChrysler), and it is truly luxury car quiet.
And then there's the price...insanely cheap for what it is.
