I hate to be the voice of reason here, but an early 90's Merc is gonna be pretty far from a mid-00's Volvo or Subaru in terms of safety, refinement, options etc. Of course in price too. That being said, that is one clean W124. If that's the model you really want, it may be a great example.
Seems to be a nice example, very reasonably-priced. I don't know if US-market W124s for 1993 is subject to the biodegradable engine harness problem, but the owner sounds like someone who can speak credibly to that issue.
