I somehow ended up at this guy's Youtube channel. He is a very enthusiastic Mercedes shop owner. His videos are informative and fun. Here is a look at his own 6.9.
Probably two years ago I took my Xantia to check suspension to a best suspension guy in my part of the country. He had one of this Mercs in a driveway waiting to be fixed. I asked if it is the same hydraulics as Citroens and he said no. He added that "It's all the same." and fixing will not be a problem :)
Headlights, bumpers and seat material don't guarantee euro, but it has the oil cooler and no "klima anlage" (climate control), so a (higher power, smog free) euro.
Wish I could get new paint jobs for cars that looked like that :)
