Here's another gem on Netflix. The movie follows a Virginian school bus from an auction, to a drive through the U.S. and Mexico, to its conversion into a Guatemalan chicken bus.
I suppose it's a testament to the build quality of those buses that they can have a second life in South America or Africa after 10-15 years of hauling schoolkids around.
I don't think I'd like to be a Guatemalan bus driver though...

@Ross: I briefly rode a chicken bus from Guatemala City to Antigua. I had no idea at the time that it was so dangerous.
