Porsche 964: Overlooked?

I must admit that for no rational reason, I often dismissed this 911. This was the 911 of my high school years, but I never really got into it, despite the all-wheel drive system and cool pop-up rear spoiler.

Well, I found these two videos, and it's quite an extraordinary car with incredible performance numbers, even by today's standards, 20 years later. The Motorweek video is a bit wonky in the beginning (remember the "Tracking" knob on VCRs?), but is worth a watch.
