Thin Red Line

The 8.0 earthquake near the Solomon Islands today reminded me of this WWII movie.  Have you seen it?  What did you think?  It unfortunately came out at the same time as Saving Private Ryan, which blew it away in box office receipts.

    It completely pales in comparison to Saving Private Ryan. I found the movie to be quite universally awful.

    @MattC: Whew. I thought I was the only one. I did not get Thin Red Line at all. At all.
