From USA Today: "To maintain the planes' polished-metal look, American is turning to paint. It must because aircraft makers are turning to carbon composites rather than metal to make their planes. And they require paint."
Yup. Plastic planes.
Boring! But then the unpainted look is not something American could keep. Sad, because if was an awesome thing.
I like it (as I like those Pepsi Light cans), but I prefered the "chrome" unpainted look. Why do they change it?
