Doing some winter cleaning and found this picture. It's a 1993 Wrangler. I had it between 1996 to 2001. This was taken on Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park.
My mom's Liberty rode far worse than my brother's Wrangler - I think the new ones ride quite a bit better than the old models. I thought the Liberty's tire pressure was about 15 pounds high, turned out it was about 5-10 low at each corner! What a terrible POS, the Trooper it replaced was a much nicer thing all around.
I drove my brother's 2012 when visiting in November and I'm hooked - I need some sort of trucky truck in my life.
ReplyDeleteI love them but I feel at my ripe old age (42) that my kidneys cannot take the beating anymore.

ReplyDeleteWait, had you driven it cross-country or did you once live on the opposite coast?
ReplyDelete@mtc: I did grad school for 3 years in DC. I drove that Jeep (Corky) four times between DC and Cali.
ReplyDeleteClaro.
ReplyDeleteFour times? Wow. Did it ever leave you stranded?
@mtc: I really didn't take care of the car and it was flawless. The only major expense was a clutch that crapped out on the Beltway.
