How is Mitsubishi still around in the states? I rarely ever see their cars out on the road.
However, I heard that '12 will be the last year for both the Galant & Eclipse, so I think they're about to pull an Isuzu and die a slow, painful death.
While not trendsetting, I have driven and rented a Galant several times and found it perfectly competent. I really do not understand all the hate for this car.

@Nigel: My non-car guy friend saw it and asked: Is this car from the 1990s?
DeleteEven new, it looked so lame! Tailor-made for the US, of course, so it had to look conservative.
ReplyDeleteI can't understand why it wasn't updated. A redesign with the style of the Lancer would look great.

ReplyDelete@MattC: It's basic transportation. It's just a shame that Mitsubishi didn't even try with this car.
Deleteand to think, the galant used to be COOL.
