Turkmenistan's presidential ride


On Saturday, Turkmenistan's president-for-life drove to the country's first car race in his Veyron.  He wanted to wish the racers good luck.  But then, the crowd convinced the Dear Leader to enter the contest.  And guess what?  He won!

    I didn't know Emeril Lagasse was the president of Turkmenistan.

    So is this the new President of Turkmenistan or the Türkmenbaşy?

    Because the President for life I think was Niyazov (until he died), and the current president isn't supposed to last that long.

    But they look similar.

    I'm curious about those little Volkicars too.

    @Viva: Turkmenbashi died and this guy replaced him. The rumor is he is Turkmenbashi's illegitimate son!
