After a complimentary motel breakfast of bagel and banana, I took a stroll around the 'hood. I spotted this Mazda last night on the walk back from dinner. Luckily, it's still there and the rising sun is at just the right angle.
It felt sophisticated. It had fantastic, accurate and feelsome steering, loved to go sideways if provoked but was very neutral otherwise. The passive rear steer was noticeable. Decent brakes, nice heel and toable pedal box - it just got all the details right. Of course, the 13B was awesome.
Mine was probably the coolest and certainly the most unique car I have ever driven. A huge role in my decision to by an RX-8.
ReplyDelete@Alan: What can you say about it? I'm thinking about doing a Hooniverse post about it.
