New science fiction book, Fahrenheit 451
Amazon and big box book stores destroyed hundreds, if not thousands, of small, independent book stores. Now, Borders is closed and Barnes & Noble is about to die. What a shame. This picture was taken today at one of the three remaining Barnes & Noble stores in the Bay Area.
It is a shame about Borders and now probably Barnes and Noble. However, it is a bit of a quandry for me because I have a Nook that I use daily and love it.
