As Newt surges, Obama is more likely to be re-elected

This is why Republicans are worried.  As Newt pummels presumptive front runner Romney, Obama's chances of winning in November rise.  Newt is so disliked by the general electorate, and especially by women, that he stands almost no chance of winning any swing state.

    Too late for me to change party affiliation to "help" Newt out in the Florida Primary. Oh well!

    @F1O: I was very blase about helping the Obama campaign this time around. But if Newt is the nominee, I will definitely drive out to Nevada again to work as a poll observer.

    @m4: I respect your opinion. Who is your preferred candidate? Romney? Paul?

    Romney should be able to beat Newt. He just can't let Newt get under his skin. As for Ron Paul, he's principled. I'll give him that.

    @Viva: Ron Paul is certainly an interesting guy and his foreign policy ideas totally make sense (but are very unrealistic). If he runs as a third party candidate, the Republicans will definitely lose because he will take some of their votes.
