@Edvin: The back end reminds me of a VW SP2 and the front reminds me of Ace and Gary's car (it's from an animated skit called the Ambiguously Gay Duo).
I love Corvairs. So atypically advanced for an American car of that period.
I want to pick up a Corvair motor to do a table with, but my wife isn't down with the plan. She's normally very cool with my hobby, but we kind of have a mid century theme running throughout the house. Sigh, I guess it WOULD look out of place.
The designer must've liked the E-type.
