Volvo 145 wagon on Ebay

Update: My highest bid was $2,350.  The winning bid was $2,800.  I have no regrets.  If anyone knows of any pre-1973 145s in decent shape, please let me know!

How much do you think this is worth?  Are there any glaring problems in the pictures that I'm missing?  The auction ends on Saturday.  Thanks.

  1. I lust for this car. I wish I could get in a bidding war with you. Go for it.

  2. @Walter: I will post updates here on what happens. I'm gonna ask the seller a couple of questions.

The only thing that holds me back is that the 1973 model has a new front fascia and dash/gauges/controls. I like the older version better.

  3. That Volvo is so cool it makes my testicle, yes, just the left one, hurt. That’s just how cool it is.

If I had more than 2 underground stalls and one surface stall, just barely enough to contain my own fleet + the CarEnvy Garage, I would. Or if I was more irrational, I would.

  4. @Peter: I'm really conflicted. I prefer the quirky gauges from pre-1973 145s. But that is a great price (so far).

I think I'll bid on it and see what happens.

  5. I'm a big fan of the 145s. My mom had a '67. No leads on any wagons, but if you like early volvos I know of a '73 164 which could be had for cheap and in reasonable shape.

  6. @Shawn: Thanks for the offer. We're sticking to a 145, for now.
