Race fans brought their street cars to race. Zero safety equipment-- just check out the guy with the Mustang convertible. I think Ralph Nader's head just exploded.
Awesome stuff, I so wish they'd still do this. Honestly, I'd much rather watch 100% original cars straight from the showroom race against eachother than F1, WRC or anything else.
I was fascinated and repelled at the same time. A large GM coupe crashes in the wall and the response is, " ah hell with it...leave it there". A guy driving a Mustang convertible with no roll cage/helmet.
